Thank you for exploring how you can share your gifts with our Family of Parishes. Every parish grows stronger when people step forward with their time, talents, compassion, and joy. Whether you feel a quiet nudge toward service or are simply wondering where to begin, there is a place for you here.

We believe God calls each of us to help build up the Body of Christ. Some ministries are in urgent need, others are growing, and all would be blessed by your presence. If you have questions, please contact the parish office. We would be happy to help you discern the right place to begin.

Liturgical Ministries

Lectors
Proclaim the Word of God at Mass and lead the Prayer of the Faithful when needed. Training is provided.

Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist
Assist with the distribution of Holy Communion at Mass and, when needed, bring the Eucharist to parishioners who are homebound or in care facilities.

Greeters, Gift Bearers & Ushers
Welcome parishioners and visitors, assist during Mass, take up the collection, organize the gift procession, and help create a spirit of hospitality.

Altar Servers
Assist at the altar and help the liturgy unfold with reverence and joy. Open to children, teens, young adults, and adults who have received First Communion. Training is provided.

Sacristans / Altar Committee
Prepare the sanctuary for Mass by caring for sacred vessels, linens, and the worship space.

Choir & Cantors
Share the gift of music to lift the prayer of the people. All voices and skill levels are welcome.

Parish Life & Support Ministries

Building & Property Committee
Support the care and stewardship of parish buildings and grounds. Experience in construction, trades, contracting, engineering, or facility management is especially helpful.

Decorating Committee
Help decorate the church for major liturgical seasons and special occasions.

Finance Committee
Appointed by the pastor, members advise on parish finances, budgeting, and annual financial reporting.

Money Counters
Assist with the confidential counting and recording of weekly offertory collections.

Pastoral Council
Help nourish the spiritual vision and pastoral priorities of the Family of Parishes through listening, discernment, and shared mission.

Outreach & Community Ministries

Migrant Worker Ministry
Each year, migrant agricultural workers call Lambton County home for part of the year. Monthly Spanish Masses and dinners offer spiritual care, welcome, and community. Volunteers help with transportation, meals, music, priest coordination, and hospitality.

Algarva Charities – Alhambra 168
Algarva is a Catholic charitable organization serving individuals with intellectual challenges across Huron, Lambton, and Middlesex. Volunteers and supporters help extend dignity, care, and community.
